Eastern Promise is the first release in a seven-part cassette series — a brand-new 4-track EP from Manchester singer-songwriter Nev Cottee, known for his deep, cinematic songwriting and unmistakable voice. Released in collaboration between Vintage Youth × Eastern Bloc, this edition is strictly limited.
Across four richly atmospheric tracks, Cottee — a familiar presence at the shop — blends timeless songwriting with the mood and texture of late-night travel, captured in warm analogue hiss. Recorded to high-grade cassette and housed in bespoke artwork, Eastern Promise launches a rare collector’s series, with only 25 copies produced.
