Ordering:
Please order at the bar with your table number. We serve dishes as listed—no major rewrites, no “create-your-own” experiments. Minor tweaks may be possible, but all changes are at the chef’s discretion. If you don’t want mushrooms, move them aside or trade with a mate. Keep it realistic, and we’ll keep cooking.
Limited to 40, the Stealth Edition tote is produced in deep black canvas with black Helvetica text except for the minimal ‘bloc’ in neon pink. It features Logotype 40, a graphic mark developed for the store’s fortieth anniversary and evolved from the original 2017 Eastern Bloc logotype. The use of colour and contrast is deliberate and controlled, allowing the design to read as expressive without being overt.
Designed by Punto Aparte in Castlefield, Manchester, the tote is durable and functional. Sized for records, daily essentials, and general use, it’s intended for regular carry—record shops, travel, gigs, and everyday use.

Crossed Wires — the lost EP and never-before-released counterpart to Thought Universe’s album Mixed Messages — is the second instalment in a seven-part cassette series. The work of Manchester producer Mark Pilkington, Thought Universe is known for immersive, genre-defying soundscapes, with past releases on Dalriada and the legendary Skam Records. Across four richly atmospheric tracks, Crossed Wires extends the sonic world of Mixed Messages — weaving intricate beat-work, processed textures, and a cinematic sense of tension and space. Captured in warm analogue hiss, the tape embodies Pilkington’s unique blend of IDM, ambient and electroacoustic experimentation.
